Noah will have outpatient surgery tomorrow (July 15) at the CHOA Surgery Center in Atlanta. Dr. Bordenca, a pediatric ophthalmologist, will loosen/tighten each muscle in both of Noah's eyes to correct the strabismus and align the eyes. I am more worried about the anesthesia and effects of it than the actual surgery. We know that this is absolutely the best decision for Noah and his vision. Most young children bounce back from surgery quickly and by the next day are moving around. He will have a follow-up visit in 2 weeks with Dr. Bordenca. Please pray for Noah, minimal pain and for the success of the surgery tomorrow.
