Preparations

We leave for China in one week and five days!  I'm piling things up beside the suitcases and making mental lists.  Meanwhile Luke says he can pack all he needs for the trip in 11 minutes.  (you have to love that he is so laid-back AND provides comic relief)  Other than that we are spending lots of extra time together and having special outings with the kids...and basically living our normal lives for the next week.

I do feel like I have started to grieve for each of our children and how much their lives are about to change (immensely).  We'll be taking Noah from the environment he knows, everything familiar and caregivers he loves; although life with us as his family will be much better-he doesn't know and probably won't comprehend that for quite some time.  I'm also sad for Ella and Beckett; even though they are gaining a brother and millions of happy times are on the horizon there is a very rough transition ahead for our household.

Please pray for our family as we grow from four to five.  It is such an exciting time.  We are counting down until we get to meet our Noah!
